Wiggles and Giggles Kindermusik Our Time 18months to 3 years

The more than 30 songs, 15 dances, and eight different instruments create these unique music activities, designed to reflect the importance of movement in the life of a toddler. The double-CD set in your At Home Materials features 50 songs, sounds, and recordings of favorite activities from class, plus two story books to develop early literacy skills. Also included is a specially-made zig-zag block instrument to develop rhythm and hand-eye coordination.

At Home Materials
You and your toddler will delight together in learning games from the home activity book, playing with the age-appropriate instrument, reading two illustrated story books, and listening to the double-CD set with more than 90 minutes of music.

Kindermusik Our Time for children 18 months through 3 years. Annual Family Registration Fee $25.00, Materials Fee $60.00, Tuition Fee $135.00.

Can you sound like an elephant? Or hop like a bunny? Our Time encourages your child to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control and communications skills. Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming and object identification foster language skills. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.

Kindermusik Our Time is designed for children 1½ years to 3 years of age. Along with an accompanying parent or caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. Exploration Time encourages a child's discovery of specially designed instruments, textures, sounds and movements; language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation, and vocal play; Music & Movement Story Time encourages emergent literacy skills; and creative dancing affirms a child's urge to move.

Since 1994 Kindermusik® of Clayton has provided music instruction to children, from birth to 8 years of age, through a variety of classes in Clayton, North Carolina. The Kindermusik® curriculum teaches an integrated, whole child approach to music education focusing on process rather than performance. It is a unique program of music learning and enjoyment that nurtures the total development of the young child. An integral part of each child’s experience is the focus on family interaction during class and the encouragement to continue the learning experience during the week, at home, so that music becomes a natural and important part of family life. Kindermusik® of Clayton believes the parent to be the ultimate teacher and provides appropriate instruction and guidance for the parent to be successful in a musical environment. Kindermusik® of Clayton will provide each participant quality instruments and materials that are recommended by Kindermusik® International as a part of the Kindermusik® requirement.
